Broward Branch Meeting
Please join us for our February general branch meeting where Mr. David Roach, Executive Director of the Florida Inland Navigation District, will present on the History of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway in Florida, The creation and mission of the Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND), and the Economics of the Intracoastal Waterway. Mr. Roach will be discussing the mission of FIND, their grant program for projects that interact with the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AICW), and the role the Army Corp of Engineers plays in the AICW. The South Florida Water Management District has launched a website to provide comprehensive water conservation information to residents, businesses, utilities, local governments and educators with a one-stop shop.
