The Younger Members Group (YMG) is open to all ASCE members, as well as prospective ASCE members, 35 years of age or younger.

Our Community and Social Events offer great opportunities to come across former peers, as well as making new friends, while making a difference in our community and having fun. Our events include "Happy-hour" socials and Adopt-a-Highway cleanups among others.

Thanksgiving Food Drive Social Event

Please donate food...because no one should go hungry! The YMG would like to invite everyone to our first Thanksgiving Food Drive Social event to help the Cooperative Feeding Program, an organization with the United Way, to collect non-perishable items:

Stuffing
Mashed potatoes
Green beans
Corn
Gravy
Yams
Cranberry sauce
Boxed milk
Evaporated milk
Apple sauce
Pumpkin pie mix
Soup
Chicken broth

When: Thursday, November 20th, 2008, at 6:00 P.M.

South Broward Waste To Energy (WTE) Plant Tour and Lunch

The YMG is pleased to bring all members the opportunity to tour this alternative energy facility located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The mass burn type WTE plant processes waste from Broward and Miami-Dade Counties along with various other spot market sectors such as medical, narcotics, and international waste from cruise ships.
